Engineered with a Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coil (DVC) configuration, it allows flexible wiring options (1-ohm or 4-ohm final impedance setups depending on amplifier configuration). The anodized aluminum cone combined with Rockford Fosgate’s VAST (Vertical Attach Surround Technique) increases effective cone area by up to 25%, improving efficiency and bass output even in a shallow platform design.

Despite its low mounting depth, the P3SD2-12 maintains strong excursion capability through a high-temperature voice coil, vented motor structure, and robust StampCast basket design.
