The Rockford Fosgate P2D2-8 is a compact 8-inch Punch Series subwoofer engineered for tight, accurate, and musical bass response in small to medium vehicle audio systems. As part of the Punch P2 lineup, it delivers a strong balance of output, efficiency, and sound quality, making it ideal for OEM upgrades and custom bass builds where space is limited but performance is still critical.

It features a Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coil (DVC) configuration, allowing flexible wiring options for 1-ohm or 4-ohm final loads depending on amplifier setup. The subwoofer uses a Kevlar fiber-reinforced paper cone combined with Rockford Fosgate’s VAST technology, which increases effective cone area for improved low-frequency output and efficiency.

Designed for durability and thermal stability, the P2D2-8 includes a high-temperature voice coil, stamped steel basket with integrated cooling, and a vented motor structure. It performs best in properly designed sealed or vented enclosures and delivers punchy, controlled bass that integrates well with full-range systems.
